About Me

Hi! I am Chen Jiang. I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at Auburn University and successfully defended my dissertation in August 2025.

Research Interests

My current research is centered around applying the latest AI approaches to address the research needs in different areas. Some of my past works have been successfully implemented to predict global leaf area index, national crop yields, highway traffic, real estate market, and heavy rainfall risk. Another line of research focuses on publishing datasets adapted to specific real-life challenges in the abovementioned areas and developing effective benchmarking pipelines aligned with the released datasets. My vision as a computer scientist is to bridge the capabilities of fast-moving AI techniques and the instant needs in various academic, research, or industry scenarios.

Background

I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at Auburn University, where I was supervised by Dr. Ku Wei-Shinn. I completed my B.Ac. at Hanover College with a major in Computer Science and a minor in History, and my M.Sc. at Indiana University Bloomington.
